Authors Jennifer Marx grew up in Michigan, where you can stand anywhere in the state and be less than six miles from a lake, river, or stream. Her shipboard experiences include two weeks aboard a sailboat as a crew member and nine months working aboard the sternwheeler "Michigan" on Lake Biwa, Japan. Her first Disney Cruise Line adventure was for three nights in October 1999. A four-night cruise followed in May 2001. Her most recent cruise was a four-night on the Disney Wonder in December 2006 for MouseFest. She's taken a total of 12 Disney cruises! Jennifer is the author of over 30 books, including the travel guide that started it all: "PassPorter Walt Disney World." Jennifer makes her home in the university town of Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she lives with her partner Dave and their infant son, Alexander. Dave Marx may be considered a Renaissance Man, a jack-of-all-trades, or a dilettante, depending on how you look at things. He took a 20-year hiatus between his early journalism training and the commencement of his full-time writing career. Beyond co-authoring "PassPorter Walt Disney World" with Jennifer, he's been a radio writer/producer; recording engineer; motion picture music editor; broadcast supervisor; tax preparer; cab driver; whitewater safety and rescue instructor; developer and instructor of online publishing courses; and a newsletter editor and promotions chief for an online forum. He discovered the Walt Disney World Resort in March 1997 and first cruised in October 1999. He's since cruised eleven more times, including his award cruise for being a Million-Point Winner at "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire--Play It!" at Walt Disney World. Dave lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
