Guardians of the Galaxy--Mission BREAKOUT!

Description from PassPorter's Disneyland Resort and Southern California Guidebook:

Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT! opened in the former Tower of Terror on May 27, 2017, ushering in the Summer of Heroes (see below). Riders help Rocket rescue his gang from the clutches of The Collector, with all-new audio and video effects, along with randomized experiences. This is fun! Guests experience one of six different ride scenarios, each of which is synchronized to a different classic rock song, including songs. by The Jackson 5, Elvis Presley, and PatBenatar. This is one of Ginger's favorite rides, and she's looking forward to the new experience. Health warning. Young children should be accompanied by an adult. Must transfer from wheelchair. Video captioning.  In the evenings during Halloween Time (starting September 15, 2017), this attraction transforms into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. An all-new song, “Monsters After Dark,” was created especially for this attraction by Tyler Bates (composer of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films).

What PassPorter Readers Think of Guardians of the Galaxy--Mission BREAKOUT! (8 comments):

Love ToT! Though, I must confess, WDW's version is better.

This is such an awesome ride. It's never the same ride twice. You can't try to guess the pattern because it's always changing.

I actually went on the one in Florida and not this one, but if I could I would give it a negative number. The person I went with however loved it and went on it again. I was still shaking from the first ride when he got done with his second.

We rode this for the first time in 2013. I wanted to ride it, but because of the heights, I was a little nervous. But this was not scary at all! It was exhilarating and so much fun!

Your family will either love this ride or hate it - as seen in the opposing ratings of the authors. As ToTs go, the one at WDW is better.
