Silly Symphony Swings |
Re-designed and re-imagined from its former life as Orange Stinger, Silly Symphony Swings spins you around and up and down, as Mickey (unseen) conducts the William Tell Overture (which many think of as the Lone Ranger theme), reminiscent of his 1935 cartoon short "The Band Concert." The swings rise and swing outward as the music reaches its crescendo, then gently float back down to earth. Fairly tame but exhilarating nonetheless, this ride may be problematic for people with motion sickness or height issues. Guests between 40 and 48 inches tall must ride in a tandem swing with "a responsible person." The swings aren't very wide, so Pooh-sized riders might find it a tight squeeze, or not fit at all. Rider switch. Guests must transfer from ECV/wheelchair to ride.
