Grizzly River Run

Ah, the whitewater beckons you! Grizzly Peak, a large "mountain" shaped like the head of a bear, is home to a thrilling whitewater raft ridethe tallest and fastest in the world. Climb aboard a six-person, circular raft for a fun, wet, and wild ride down the manmade river. Along the way you'll experience a 45-foot climb and two dropsone as far as 22 ft. during which your raft actually spins as it drops! This is a notch above Kali River Rapids at Walt Disney World, being a bit longer and a bit more thrilling. Be aware that you will get wet, perhaps even soakedstore your valuables in a locker nearby (free for one hour) and wear a poncho during the ride to stay dry. Outdoor queue is mostly covered. Single rider line is faster (when available) if your party is willing to split up. Rider switch. Health warning. Young children should be accompanied by an adult. Must transfer from wheelchair to ride.

Go early so you have enough sunlight to dry you. Pack flip flops in your backpack so your shoes and socks don't get wet.

If you don't like to get wet definitely don't ride this one!

Great ride to cool off!

You will get wet! I love this ride, primarily because of the wetness factor, because it's lovely on a warm day. It will close for the day if it's cool out, so look for the signs. Does have some drops, but nothing really dramatic. A must do for us.
