Wow. Just wow. From the opening shot of the Matterhorn to an updated closing featuring fireworks over Disneyland, this new attraction showcases spectacular photography of some of the world's most stunning sights. Updated from the fabulous Soarin' Over California in summer 2016, the new attraction surpasses the original in every way. Spoiler alert: new scenes include incredible shots of wildlife, the Taj Majal, the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, and other beautiful scenes, building from the stirring original soundtrack and incorporating new motifs. In this simulator ride, guests are strapped into oversized porch swings and rise from the floor for a simulated hang glider tour. An eye-filling IMAX movie screen, gentle motion, stirring music, and scented breezes combine for an exhilarating journey. Be aware that your feet will dangle (you may want to store those flip-flops in the basket underneath). The aromas aren't detectable from all seats, and riders in the last few seats on either side will see a noticeable distortion in the view as you "approach" objects with straight vertical sides.There's a definite potential for motion sickness if you're prone, but the ride no long has those brief moments of total darkness at the beginning and end.
