On Wednesday, April 6, Disney Cruise Line officially unveiled the remainder of its 2012 cruise itineraries, at a press conference in New York City. This was one of the worst-kept Disney Cruise Line "secrets" ever, with a variety of leaks from crew members and the (apparently) premature release of the official news story by the Houston Chronicle. While the full 2012 schedules for the Disney Dream and brand-new Disney Fantasy have been public for quite some time, the question was, "What will the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder do starting in April 2012? As rumored, the Disney Magic will sail from New York City during the spring and summer of 2012, and then will head to Galveston, Texas, her base of operations for 7-night Western Caribbean cruises. Meanwhile, the Disney Wonder will continue its Mexican Riviera cruises, and then do a special 15-night cruise to Hawaii! The Wonder will then head to Seattle, her base of operations for the Alaskan cruising season. PassPorter's Dave Marx was on hand in New York for the press conference (video link), and posted an in-depth report, including all the dates and ports of call.
