The BOATHOUSE

Description from PassPorter's Walt Disney World Guidebook:

This upscale eatery features pricey waterfront dining with live music, “floating artwork” (classic wooden boats), and boat rides. Guided tours aboard a wooden, Venetian-style water taxi include champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. Guided Amphicar cars (yes, cars!) launch from land, enter the water, and take guests on a 20-minute tour of the landmarks of Disney Springs. Managed by the folks behind Chicago’s Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, menu items include bone-in ribeyes, Chilean sea bass, fish tacos, and grouper.

What PassPorter Readers Think of The BOATHOUSE (11 comments):

We had dinner at the Boathouse during our January trip. It was on an exceptionally cold evening so the outside dining was closed. We had a 5:30pm reservation and were seated shortly after that. The table we were given (for two) was a high-top adjacent to the bar. While the food and service were excellent, the noise was almost overwhelming. We hope to eat there again and have a more traditional table back in the restaurant...but the noise was definitely a detractor. With that said...the food itself was excellent and we enjoyed conversations with several of the wait-staff.

Really good food, but pricey. I've only eaten there once, in April 2016, and plan on going back. Service was a bit disorganized, but I was there at opening.

Great experiences here. The food is great, but pricey. The service is among the best in WDW

We ate here for the first time last year and we are hooked! Amazing food and service. The seafood is so good. Will be going back this year.

Great theming and location; our one visit was a little disappointing. Thought it slightly overrated in both quality and value.

Reservations were slow for seating on Monday night June 6th but otherwise a good choice for our party of three adults

The Lobster Mac was AMAZING! That is enough to bring me back again and again.

WE have been here for dinner (inside) and lunch (outside at the dock). Highly recommend this eatery. We enjoyed the Porterhouse for two for dinner. It was delish!! For lunch we shared a burger and a few drinks. Everything was very good and we know we will be back again. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was very attentive.

I have wanted to eat here for years and finally achieved that goal in April 2016. And....it was fabulous! If you are a lover of seafood, this is the place to be!

We truly enjoyed our experience at The Boathouse. We were a party of 6 and everyone's meals were delicious. The seafood was fresh and the steaks cooked perfectly.
