Triton's

Description from PassPorter's Disney Cruise Line and Its Ports of Call Guidebook:

Have you ever yearned to dine elegantly in a gorgeous, grand dining room aboard a majestic ocean liner? This is your chance. On the Disney Wonder, the grandest dining room is known as Triton's. It is located next to the ships’ breathtaking lobby atrium on deck 3 midship and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast and lunch have open seating—just show up when and where you like.

Decor—Triton’s takes you “under the sea” with Ariel’s father from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The Art Nouveau-inspired dining room is decorated in soft colors with blue glass-and-iron “lilypads” floating on the ceiling. A breathtaking Italian glass mosaic of Triton and Ariel graces the back wall. The lighting changes during the dinner, casting an “under the sea” effect.

Dinner Dress—Unless the evening is formal, semi-formal/dress-up, or “pirate” (see 296 and 659), dress is cruise casual: nice slacks and collared shirts for men and dresses/pantsuits for women. No shorts, please.

Our Review—The elegant setting is the restaurant’s best feature. This is the only restaurant offering full table service at breakfast and lunch on the Magic. The table service breakfast here is good, but service is slow. Lunch is enjoyable, but portions may seem small. Breakfast and lunch selections are limited compared to the buffets. The extra elegance at dinner is a treat, and the Continental-style meals are finely prepared. This is our favorite rotational dining rooms on the Magic.

The nicest of the Wonder's restaurants. Food quality was pretty good. Service was outstanding, but we didn't find the found at any of the table service restaurants was outstanding.

We'd eat there again because it's in the rotation, but the food was mostly good, not necessarily great.
