Be prepared to grin as you ride this not-so-scary, recently updated ‘49er roller coaster through a two-acre Wild West landscape. You'll find plenty of speed and lots of curves, but no fearsome drops on this short, “runaway” mine train ride. You’ll tilt, shake, and rattle, though! Look around and enjoy Disney’s lovingly built environment, including a “natural” arch bridge, falling rocks, and a flooded bridge. Lines can be long, with only fans and shade to cool you off—try for a FASTPASS. Health warning. Must transfer from wheelchair. Rider switch available.

One of my top 3 rides that must be ridden every trip. It is a wonderful ride, great themeing and brings some of the original attraction into this great thrill ride.

As a veteran WDW visitor, I'm glad I didn't skip the Disneyland version of this terrific, classic Disney attraction. The ride felt smoother than the one in WDW, and this one had some fun, unexpected special effects, but maintains the fun spirit that I love so much about this ride. It's perfect for kids who may have graduated from kiddie roller coasters, but aren't quite ready for Space Mountain yet.

Love, love, love this ride! Family fav. Can cause motion sickness to sensitive ones.
