Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

Description from PassPorter's Disneyland Resort and Southern California Guidebook:

Disneyland’s fabled subs have been recruited in the search to find Nemo from the Disney/Pixar film "Finding Nemo." After extensive rehabilitation and upgrades, the Sub Lagoon has been transformed into the Great Barrier Reef, and cutting-edge technology allows Marlin, Dory, and other familiar finny friends to appear to swim freely in the waters outside your sub’s port holes as they hunt for the missing clownfish. Lines can be extremely long since the subs take a while to load/unload, and because this voyage is just so darned good. Riders descend a stairway into the bright yellow subs, where they’ll find fold-up bench seats along both sides of the sub. Long rows of small portholes give everyone a view. The views out the port and starboard portholes are different, so a second ride is probably in your future. Guests must be able to walk on their own or with help from their party in order to ride. Accessible experience available to guests in wheelchairs and ECVs—speak to the cast member to request this. Handheld captioning. May be challenging for claustrophobics.

I enjoyed this attraction because it's so different from other attractions in the park, but it also made me miss the original 20,000 Leagues ride. This one is fun though. I wish the Nemo effects were a little better - I didn't think they were very convincing. And the "story" doesn't make a lot of sense.

I really like this ride, but some people have issues with the closed space of a sub. Cute animations with the cast from Nemo. Definitly worth doing once at least.

A fun ride, but the loading and unloading is VERY slow. If there is little or no wait, this is a terrific ride.
