Jedi Training Academy

Description from PassPorter's Disneyland Resort and Southern California Guidebook:

During the Season of the Force, this fun show has transformed into Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple (no word on whether this change is permanent). Younglings aged 4 to 12 can register at the exit of Star Wars Launch Bay (the old Innoventions building) on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: registration is not available during Extra Magic Hours. About 30 young padawans per show don brown cloaks and learn basic light-saber moves at the Tomorrowland Terrace stage. After using the Force to make a mysterious temple rise onto the stage, they face their greatest fears: Darth Vader and a new villain, the Seventh Sister Inquisitor from the Star Wars Rebels cartoon. Each padawan engages a villain in one-on-one combat, emerging triumphantno matter their size. The Force is strong in these young ones, indeed! Note: if you try to sign up on an EMH day, expect to wait in line that entire hour. Experienced travelers suggest you head here immediately upon rope-drop on non-EMH days for the best chance of getting in. Two-hour lines are not unheard-of on busy days!

Type: Show
Scope: D-Ticket
Ages: Ages 4 & up
Thrill Factor: Very long lines to register

FastPass: None
Queue Conditions: Very long lines to register

Special Considerations:

What PassPorter Readers Think of Jedi Training Academy (1 comments):

Meant for little kids (under 12). My son did this when he was 6 and as the stormtroopers were marching in, he ran up and did the 'force push' to them. They completly played along and were just awesome! Darth Vader is wonderful with the kids (totally in character) and Darth Mal is an impressive gymnast! Worth watching even if you don't have a kid!
