Indiana Jones Adventure

Description from PassPorter's Disneyland Resort and Southern California Guidebook:

Enter the Temple of the Forbidden Eye for a rollicking, fast-paced adventure, Indiana Jones-style! The very long but delightfully themed queue is mostly indoors and snakes through an archeological dig—for some fun, push lightly on the spike holding up the ceiling, and pull on the rope going into the well. Eventually you board 12-person “troop transport” vehicles and head off in search of Indiana Jones. Along the way, you’ll bounce and jostle, encountering mummies, fires, lava, “poison darts,” rats, failing bridges, and, yes, snakes (“oh, why does it have to be snakes?”). Lines can be very long, so plan to ride early in the day, use a FASTPASS, or take advantage of the Single Rider line to avoid a significant wait. Kids under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Rider swap available. Health warning. Must transfer from wheelchair. Video captioning.

What PassPorter Readers Think of Indiana Jones Adventure (6 comments):

WDW has an Indiana Jones show, Disneyland has an Indiana Jones ride. Disneyland wins this battle. This is a MUST while you're at Disneyland

This ride is perfect just like you're in the movie. The line is wonderful and full of theming. The actual ride throws you around and it's dark and a little scary but that's the whole point. You'll feel like you were on an adventure for sure.

I loved it, my daughter found it too bumpy, and the grandparents skipped it being too harsh on their bodies last time.

We never miss this ride! So much fun! The line has lots of interactive things to do while waiting, so I never mind the line. If you have back issues, this might not be the ride for you.

A GREAT ride, even if short. I've never understood why this didn't make it over to WDW.
