It's Tough to be a Bug! |
Delve into the insect world beneath the Tree of Life on Discovery Island for a humorous show hosted by Flik from “A Bug’s Life” and featuring a pint-sized cast of animated and Audio-Animatronics characters. 3-D effects, creepy sensations, and yucky smells can terrify the bug-wary. Queue offers close-up views of the tree’s animal sculptures. Look for hilarious movie posters in the “lobby.” Air-conditioned, 430-seat theater. Outdoor queue is uncovered. Special effects may be too intense for some. Wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening. Reflective captioning. The entrance is marked on the map on 5623. KidTip: “Sit between two grown-ups in case you get scared.”

This is a great attraction. The level of detail in the tree of life and the movie posters in the queue are so much fun to look at while waiting to go in. We leave laughing every time.

Love this ride, don't sit in front row with little kids, my daughter is 17 and is still scared to see show because we sat right in front where the surprise guest comes out.

I really enjoy this show. It does show its age a bit, but it is a nice and relaxing one too.

Clever with some surprises. Small kids can be scared, so know your child's fear level well. Enjoy the punny posters in the queue area!

I go to this again and again for a nice respite from the sun and hearing the screams of the first timers when the roaches run out. I love it!!

The show and effects are entertaining. I always ride at least twice. Once to enjoy the show and the other to watch the people in the audience especially at the exiting of the insects. I watched a woman holding her child, telling him it wasn't real. She did really well with that until the exiting!

They did a great job with the effects. The waiting area can be cramped, and it has a low ceiling.
