Rainforest Cafe

Description from PassPorter's Walt Disney World Guidebook:

Environmentally conscious dining in an artificial rainforest hidden behind a two-story waterfall? It even rains indoors! The Rainforest Cafe puts on quite a show and piles your plate with tasty, inventive foods representing many different cuisines. Hearty breakfasts ($8.99–$13.99), enormous sandwiches ($12.99–$16.99), pastas ($18.99–$21.99), steaks, chicken, and ribs ($18.99–$30.99), seafood ($22.99–$26.99), and mountainous salads ($15.99–$16.99) overflow the menu. Smoothies and specialty alcoholic drinks are popular. Located just outside the gates (no park admission required). This was the first table-service restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There’s a special entrance for guests exiting and re-entering the park. For discounts, see 5776.

Food is good and we can always find a seat at the bar area without reservations. A little loud.

This restaurant is not Disney themed it seems like it's out of place. Disney sets the expectation and this restaurant reaps the benefits.

Fun place to eat. The food is average, overpriced and the service is slow

I'd probably eat here again at some point. But Rainforest Cafe is getting a bit long in the tooth.
