What PassPorter Readers Think of Tusker House Restaurant (19 comments):

This is one of our must eat places at AK. It is nice to have a cool place to eat and see Mickey, Minnie and friends. The food is pretty good as well. The cast members who serve here are really nice.

Our favorite character meal! The food and drinks are great for a buffet and the kids get to see characters. We have never experienced a wait. What's not to love?

A fun character meal to do and the food is very good. They have a few different choices than the usual buffet fare.

Delicious variety of foods. Atmosphere is OK. Characters are cute but don't hang around long.

Excellent food, not mentioning how great it is to meet all of the characters!

One of my most favorite places. I really go for the Passion Fruit Tarts at the dessert station, but all of the food is excellent! :-)

We usually did breakfast with the characters here, but could not get a reservation for the day we needed, so we made a lunch reservation. It was a wonderful spread of African food (and mac and cheese for the picky eaters),

A unique set up for a buffet. The food is typical buffet food but quite tasty.

This is a fun place to do classic characters with better food than Chef Mickey. We like to do breakfast before the park opens to be ready to hit the ground running at rope drop.

My family and I really enjoyed Tusker House!! The food was great, the service was wonderful, and my daughter was SO excited to meet the characters here!!! Also, if you get a chance to try the Jungle Juice, you will not regret it!!! YUM!!!

Food options are extensive. There is something for everyone. Restaurant is large so it does take awhile for the characters to make it around.

Ate here for breakfast. Loved the characters and they had a great selection of food. Excellent for food allergies.

Must-Do character breakfast buffet. We always book Donald's Safari Breakfast as early as we can. They even have a Gluten-Free Bar. All of the food is delicious and there are a ton of options. One of my favorite foods in WDW is the Banana-Cinnamon Bread Pudding and the most amazingly delicious Vanilla sauce. The Vanilla sauce was gone for a while, but I am glad to hear that they brought it back. YAY!! The oven roasted potatoes are seaoned and super yummy. I also liked the Spiced Corn Beef Hash with Cornbread Topping, but I know corned beef hash is not for everyone. There are a few surprises and the traditional eggs and bacon and sausage, You will not leave hungry and you will leave happy. Especially cool to visit with Donald and the gang in adorable outfits. Here is my tip... put the vanilla sauce on almost everything. Oh, and did I mention the Jungle Juice. This is similar to the juice at O'Hana. You're gonna love it. I suggest a reservation earlier in the morning.

Great buffet with the usual and unexpected offerings. The juice is the best! The characters are great but it takes a while for them to come around. Prefer this meal hands down over Chef Mickey's. Great way to start the day-you will not be hungry until dinner.

Loved the food and the atmosphere. I would recommend a reservation before the park opens and enjoy the peaceful walk over to the restaurant . Also the first time we had breakfast there we had a 10:15 reservation and by the time we were seated there was not much being replenished for breakfast and they were beginning to put lunch items out.
