Yak and Yeti Restaurant |
The Asian-themed eatery offers interesting Asian-fusion cuisine. Menu offerings include appetizers such as lettuce cups ($14.49), pork pot stickers ($9.99), and a dim sum basket for two ($14.49). Wonton soup ($5.29) and a huge seared tuna salad ($16.99) are also available. Entrees include seared miso salmon ($25.99), duck with plum bbq sauce ($26.99), Kalbi steak and coconut shrimp ($28.99), and crisp honey chicken ($18.99). Lo mein noodles are also available ($18.99- $19.99). Desserts include mango pie ($8.49) and fried wontons ($8.99). Kids’ entrees are $8.99 and include your choice of cheeseburger, mini corn dogs, mac & cheese, teriyaki chicken, chicken tenders, PB&J, or pork egg roll, and a drink. The dining rooms on both floors are imaginatively decorated and worth a tour after your meal. The theme is evocative of the Western Himalayan foothills in India and Nepal, the dining rooms full of Asian antiques. There’s also a shop next door selling Asian-inspired items.

Similar to the outside counter service but more options and yummy deserts! My kids love it. Service has always been good for us and the seating area is nice and not squishy where you feel like you are sitting on top of another family. There is a good amount of space in here!

While I didn't care for how my dish was prepared, I was the only one. And everything else was excellent.

The food was good and it was nice eating upstairs. It was the one and only time I got to see the parade before it got cancelled. Very nice themeing and decor. I agree with other folks: ask for a window table!

This is my favorite restaurant at Animal Kingdom. I love the decor, the food, the service is always great and I look forward to every visit!

Food was ok but I expected better. Really neat theming. Our waiter was ok but came off as sort of forced congeniality. The dessert was amazing--wontons with sweetened cream cheese, pineapples, and ice cream. I dream about it.

pricey for Oriental food, but really good, and a fun, relaxing experience - ask for a window table!

I would consider eating here again, however our experience was marred by having to wait an hour after our ADR because they were also scheduling walk-ins (who were also waiting). The food and service were good once inside, so would be willing to give them another try at some point.

Fried wontons are the best!

Once was enough. Good enough on its own, but underwhelming for a Disney TS.

This is a must do for us. The service has always been excellent. We love the fried wontons for dessert.

Not on my list to do again. Once was enough. The service was good, but it ends there. The Food, eat a the bar or the stand outside, it's cheaper and better.

Why had we passed over this restaurant for so long? When we finally made it here we were so pleasantly surprised, it far exceeded our expectations. Try the fried wontons for dessert.

We love the food at this place and always choose it for a table service in Animal Kingdom. Everything is delicious!
