This new attraction, opening in the space vacated by the Great Movie Ride, will give the famous mice their first dedicated attraction. Guests will join Mickey and Minnie on an exciting adventure with fun visual effects. Apparently it will be an enhanced dark ride, with new technology that will not require the use of 3D glasses. The animation styled used for this attraction is based on the new shorts at Disney Television Animation (they are currently being shown on the Disney channel and on the TVs at the Disney resorts—we like this style!). And as we understand it, this attraction will have more hidden Mickeys than any other existing ride! It was announced at D23 Expo Japan in February 2018 that this attraction would open in 2019.
