To make way for the new 700-room hotel that's going in at the west end of Disneyland Resort in California, several venues at Downtown Disney are closing June 30, 2018. Closing are Earl of Sandwich, Alamo Rent-a-Car, AMC Theaters, Disney Vacation Club office, ESPN Zone, Rainforest Cafe, Starbucks West Side, and the Walt Disney Travel office. For those lamenting the loss of Earl of Sandwich, Disney says it could possibly appear on the ground floor of the new hotel complex.
