The Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is now running at the Magic Eye Theater. The 18-minute 3-D film festival includes a look into the visionary minds behind some of the world's most iconic animated films today. Currently, the festival showcases "Feast," "Piper," and "Get a Horse!" The pre-show features John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, giving guests an insider's view of the collaborative creative process. In June 2010, Honey I Shrunk the Audience closed here to make way for the return of Captain EO, the “4D” film starring Michael Jackson and produced by filmmakers Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas. The film graced Epcot from 1986–1994, the era of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and Captain EO was more of the same.
