Le Cellier Steakhouse

Description from PassPorter's Walt Disney World Guidebook:

Oh, Canada! This steakhouse-in-a-stone-cellar is one of World Showcase’s most popular spots, and reservations may be hard to get. Warm lighting, brocade upholstery, and stained glass make this the coziest cellar around— an upscale steakhouse style with Canadian accents. Both lunch and dinner are Signature Dining, and now serve the same menu all day. Appetizers ($11-$19) include Maine lobster and heirloom tomatoes. Entrees ($29–$54) include a coffee-rubbed ribeye, mushroom filet mignon, chicken roulade, venison osso bucco, New York strip, veggie gnocchi, and striped bass. Sides of truffle fries, mashed potatoes, and smoked mac and cheese are also available. The luscious cheddar cheese soup ($11) is a big favorite at any time. Leave room for dessert—chocolate moose maple leaf ($11) anyone?

What PassPorter Readers Think of Le Cellier Steakhouse (27 comments):

We loved the food at this restaurant and even my picky eater found something to like.
We did have to wait a while for our seating but the staff at the front desk occupied us with fun Disney trivia. Although we waited to be seated, the staff took care special care of us once we were finally seated.

NOPE - OVER-RATED. Worst signature restaurant on the trip. We will go other places. Not worth the 2 credits.

Seriously good! I love the Cheddar soup and pretzel bread!

Have a wonderful filet every visit to Disney. Definitely worth the money. Love the atmosphere
Gingerk gave this a rating of 10 on 06/30/2016 at 2:17:56 pm EDT

It's historically overrated. That said, the filet mignon is pretty darn tasty, the poutine is fun, and the cheese soup is fabulous! I am glad that it is now a two table service credit establishment. I can now always get a reservation the day before--except during Christmas and New Years!

Pricey. Not worth 2 meals on the dining plan

Loved Le Cellier, the atmosphere and food were awesome.

We've eaten here once...some time ago. The best part was the cheese soup! The disappointment was the steak. The reality is you won't get a great steak unless you are at one of the signature dining experiences like California Grill or Shula's. If I can talk my wife into going again, we will...but I'll have my fingers crossed that the whole experience is better next time.

Seems over populated. Not worth the 2 meal charge on the plans.

This is always very highly rated. My parents' loved the steak there, but I was much younger when we went and I don't remember what I had. I remember it being kind of dark and not that "magical" inside. I think this is a much better option for adults than families.

Tucked away in Victoria Gardens, this is a gem. The food is great (get the Cheddar cheese soup and double on the bread). Easier to get a reservation now that it counts double for the DDP

The food here is some of the best at WDW. We had dinner there one rainy evening. We were kind of wet and just about ready to call it quits. Our waiter that evening was the best entertainment we had that day. We had a great meal and a great server!

Have been here many many times. Love the pretzel bread and the cheese soup if we eat here for dinner my daughter and I split a steak. Steaks are great

Have not been back since the change to 2 credits. Good but quite expensive.

I have eaten at Le Cellier many times over the years but my most recent experiences have been some of the best. The quality of food is excellent, as well as the service and the atmosphere is quaint without feeling crowded or too rowdy. The pretzel bread alone is worth the trip and to me the quality of meat and the side dishes is up to par with the other signature dining locations. I think because of the "change" from the 1 credit to 2 it's harder to accept; because those of us who were able to enjoy it as a 1 credit restaurant found it was exceptional...thus the change to 2 credits ;-) The mushroom risotto is to die for.

Servers have been exceptional every time I've visited, food is very good (some things are excellent). W was not happy when they increased prices substantially because it was so popular. Think that decreased the value for the product. Will still eat here, but it's not my go-to restaurant anymore given the cost increases

Our friends treated us to dinner here. Pretzel buns, Cheddar soup, and Filet Mignon......need I say more. However, I would never use two dining credit for here. Very warm and comfy-cozy inside.
MPoppins77 gave this a rating of 10 on 06/13/2016 at 8:41:42 pm EDT

Great, but not good enough for a Signature Dining rating.
Moghedan gave this a rating of 9 on 06/13/2016 at 3:00:00 pm EDT

The food is amazing, but I have not been back since Disney switched it to a 2 table service credit restaurant.
bethann1970 gave this a rating of 9 on 06/12/2016 at 11:30:41 pm EDT

Loved this restaurant when it was a single dinner option on the dining plan, now it is just too costly.
ears2bwv gave this a rating of 8 on 06/12/2016 at 6:18:13 pm EDT

Most over rated eatery in Epcot
Denise Y. gave this a rating of 4 on 06/10/2016 at 3:58:10 pm EDT

Food was nothing special and I thought overpriced. Was told it's a great place, but I just wasn't all that impressed, actually kind of disappointed.
Egret gave this a rating of 7 on 06/10/2016 at 12:39:52 pm EDT

If you are true steak lover this is NOT the place for you... the steaks are covered in butter. I would suggested Yatchman's Steakhouse at the Beach Club or Shula's at the Dolphins (both are epic)
dmsprung gave this a rating of 6 on 06/10/2016 at 12:05:47 pm EDT

The food is great, but I don't agree it should be a 2 table credit meal.

Great food and service! Love the chocolate mousse!

Delicious steaks, although a pricey option.

Filet mignon, pretzel bread, beer and cheese soup....yes please! Cozy retreat!
