Katsura Grill |
Of the Japan pavilion’s three eateries, we visit here most often for tasty, filling, and economical fare. This classic Japanese quick-meal spot serves skewers of grilled teriyaki chicken, salmon, or beef as a platter or in a combo with shrimp tempura ($10–$14), satisfying chicken curry over rice ($13), sushi ($9–$12) and big, filling bowls of udon noodle soup ($11–$12). Wash it down with hot sake or cold Kirin beer. Dine at tables indoors or out, and take a few minutes to stroll through the nearby bonsai display. Kids’ meal is $8–$9. Formerly Yakitori House.

Food was OK, not really memorable. My 15 y/o DD liked it, though. Not sure about definitely going back to eat here, since there are so many other choices in World Showcase.

A must do for us. Just wish they could figure out a way to have more indoor seating.

This is one of the few counter service restaurants that I really like. The food is interesting, but why I keep coming back is the patio. During off hours, I love to sit in the shade on the patio, sip on some iced green tea, share some sushi, and spend quality time with friends and family. It's a beautiful place!
