My husband & I liked Tom Sawyer Island as older kids, our own kids absolutely loved it, and now the third generation is enjoying it. This latest generation was introduced to the books Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn because of Tom Sawyer Island. A great way to run off some energy for the kids. Let's them use their imaginations. One of the best spots in all of WDW for our family.

A great place for the kids to run around and have fun ! Find the rocking chairs overlooking Big Thunder Mountain to relax for a bit. The ride to and from the island does take a bit of time.

So many better things to do at Magic Kingdom. Great place if you have seen and done it all. If you have limited time, skip it.

It's nice place to escape the crowds. There is a small playground. Some of the caves can be dark and scary for little ones.

Tom Sawyer's Island is a nice quiet place to remove yourself from the busy noisy park for just a little while, and not actually have to leave the park. Relaxing on the front porch, or just meandering around the wooded trails is so relaxing.

We went to the island once just to say we did it. Its a nice place to sit and relax but other than that, we usually skip it.

One of my kids favorite places to explore. We always have to make them "go back" to the park. (You feel like you are in another place all together!) Clean, quite bathrooms!

Great spot to let kids blow off steam. Lots of hidden crannies to explore. Wish they would open Aunt Polly's for snacks. Barrel bridge is a hoot!
