The real value of this ride, besides sitting inside for awhile, is looking for the hiding-in-plain-sight things...and you can only do that by doing some self-study. Find out the origins of the Carousel (hint...1964-1965) and the route it took to get to Florida (hint...New York....California...).

My family doesn't understand why I like this ride so much. It is more than it is a quiet ride where you can always get a good seat and enjoy the dark and a/c. I guess it's the hope for tomorrow that makes it special.

This is great for two groups: older adults who will appreciate the nostalgia of times gone past, and true fans of Walt Disney/Disney history. I wouldn't recommend it to first-timers, but if you are someone who goes every few years then you should try it at least once!

Inexplicably, my little ones loved this until about age 13 and it was a must ride. We ride it out of nostalgia now. It is classic Disney and nice to still be able to see the attractions that help start it all.
