Meet Ariel at Her Grotto |
Journey to Ariel's Grotto for an opportunity to meet the Little Mermaid herself. Ariel greets you from upon her seashell throne in the grotto, which is built into the cliffs beside Under the Sea. The throne is extra wide, so guests may be invited to sit next to Ariel on her throne for a photo opportunity. This isn't much of an attraction, per se, but more of a guaranteed character meet and greet if you have a FastPass+ (recommended) or are willing to wait the 30-60 minutes. This attraction replaced the old Ariel's Grotto, which was a water playground in addition to a meet and greet.

Fab meet and greet for anyone. Lines are never too long (though I'm not sure why) and Ariel is wonderful.

This had short lines the day we went, and we were Disney-Bounding Ariel, so it made for a great photo.

A good character interaction, especially if you have an Ariel fan. We especially enjoyed meeting with Ariel on a very cold January day when she was wearing a lovely coat over her shells!

Long lines but if you have an Ariel lover it is a must. Ariel was wonderful when we have been there and talked to the children.
