We are all super excited (although my wife is a little nervous as this will be her first time on a plane). Now only are we celebrating our first trip to Disney, but my wife and I will also be celebrating our, um, wait, let me think...7th? Yes, 7th wedding anniversary. We can't wait to see Cinderella's castle first thing Saturday morning. on 04/20/2012

Lori writes: I'm trying to explain how much of an advantage it is to stay on property as compared to staying off property. In terms of transportation, how long is travel time to the monorail resorts via the Magical Express. What other perks are there to on property stays? And what age were your kids before you could realistically do four days of rope drop to fireworks without a return to your hotel? I'm saying I still need one, others are thinking, well the youngest will be three and a half so won't need a nap. Anyways, I'd love some opinions on on property monorail stays verses off property, with young mouseketeers and grandparents in tow.
