With a beautifully themed ride and waiting area, this is just as much a thrill ride for your mind as your body, including an army of mummies ready to terrify you! When Universal tells you to get ready to scream, they mean it. It's a unique thrill experience, where you're catapulted into total darkness at speeds of up to 45 miles an hour. It is less intense than some of the coasters at Islands of Adventure, but it is still fast, and expect sharp turns, which may cause motion sickness.

I'm not a big roller coaster guy but this was fun. The special effects were great.

I have to tell a story here. My little one was in kindergarten, and my big one was in 3rd grade when we went on this ride. I swear when I was at the park in the mid-1990's this was like the movie ride - you were on a train sort of thing going through the Mummy movie set with Brenden Fraiser. We went on this, didn't see any of the warnings, and I held my kindergartner down and felt his heart beat out of his chest throughout the whole ride. He cried when he got off, and we had some "trust" issues about what was scary and what was not throughout that whole trip. As a 4th grader, we went back, and while he likes most rides, he still won't go on this one! Head the warnings about the ride! I am sure it is really fun if you aren't worried about your little one!

Tonnes of fun and surprises. It is a bit rough in some of the sudden stops.
