Attractions
The Skyway closed permanently on November 9. Read the article in the Orlando Sentinel for Disney's reason for closure.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction opened June 5!

Rumor has it that a new attraction, Fire Mountain, will be built in the Magic Kingdom (possibly behind Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland). The word on the street is that Fire Mountain could be a stand-up coaster that flies over a "pit of lava." If Disney decides to go ahead with the project, watch for it to open by 2001 (in time for Walt Disney World's 30th anniversary).

We have also heard rumors of a villain-themed ride or even a new land.

The Fairytale Garden, located between Cinderella Castle and the Enchanted Grove quick-service eatery, is now open. The new area features storytelling hours with Belle and character greeting at various times throughout the day.

Park Map
If you're in Tomorrowland and need to get to Mickey's Toontown Fair, take the path near Space Mountain. Works if you're going from Toontown Fair to Tomorrowland, too.
