Travel Guide Updates for PassPorter's Walt Disney World 2012

(twelvth edition, early 2012 - More Book Information)

Reminder: These updates do not include every new thing at Walt Disney World as that would require an entirely new book to explain (and, yes, we will have a 2013 edition)! Instead, this chart only lists the pages in PassPorter's Walt Disney World 2012 that would be out-of-date or incorrect without this information. Please note that updates listed with page numbers above 360 are extra information that do not apply directly to pages in the book, as the book only has 360 pages.

Tip: Do you have some news or an update that is not in this list? Let us know! If we use and publish it, we will send you a free thank-you gift! Become a PassPorter Reporter at http://www.passporter.com/report.asp

The kid's meal features a turkey and American cheese wrap. Meals can be picked up at Min & Bill's Dockside Diner between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm. Adult meals are $15.99, kids meals $5.49, and can be purchased with one Disney Dining Plan quick-service credit. 999Disney has been testing its Next Generation (or NextGen) technology overhaul for some time, but it appears that some pieces have officially been implemented, most making use of guests' Key to the World (KTTW) cards. All resorts now feature RFID door locks, all four theme parks have RFID-enabled turnstiles available for resort guests who have admission on their KTTW cards, and select merchandise locations now offer RFID-enabled sensors that guests can use to charge purchases to their rooms. In all cases, guests simply touch their card to a sensor in order to have it "read" - the magnetic stripe on the back of the card is not scanned. Other known features of NextGen include an expanded FASTPASS system that includes online reservations, but that part of the system is still being tested.
