A real beach vacation awaits you at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, with white sands and the Atlantic Ocean just steps away from your room. The 112-room Inn is surrounded by clusters of vacation homes and six beach cottages. You can choose from deluxe inn rooms with garden or ocean views, studios, one- or two-bedroom vacation homes, and threebedroom beach cottages on two levels. The Inn and the Villa buildings have parking garages underneath. If you’re staying in a beach cottage, you’ll need to park in the nearest garage and walk to your cottage.

Think of Disney and everyone thinks of theme parks. Understandably so, but the company's reach extends far beyond the parks. To date, there are two resorts with the distinctive Disney touch that are not connected with a Disney theme park, with a third due to be added to the family in 2011 in Hawaii.

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, located about 100 miles from Orlando, opened in 1995 yet it still remains unknown to many Disney fans.
