Disney's Animal Kingdom Park

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the youngest and largest park (580 acres) at the Walt Disney World Resort. Part zoological park and part theme park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom charms, delights, and thrills guests with a uniquely Disney look at the wild world. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is located the farthest west of all the parks on the Walt Disney World property.

The Tree of Life towers above Disney’s Animal Kingdom, reminding us of the wonder, glory, and fragility of nature’s creations. This is the quietest of the parks out of respect to the animals who make their home here, but “quiet” doesn’t mean “boring.” Adventure awaits, as discoveries lurk around every bend. Like Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a place to explore with open eyes and eager minds. Lace up your boots, grab your safari hat, and load your camera—the adventure is about to begin!
